A Strange Disappearance

One of the most practical illusion accessories you could own. It has a variety of uses and is simple to construct and perform. One effect would be that the small two-fold screen is set up on stage. You can see through the frame as the magician passes behind it, setting it up and putting its top on. A cloth is shown and held up as in our illustration and, when dropped, there stands your assistant! Or, you can honor its name and do the reverse to make your assistant disappear. Many effects can be accomplished with this prop. Stack tires on the frame and make your assistant appear or disappear within them. You can do an exchange by turning a male assistant into a female, or turn a child into a bunny. Many effects are possible with this small two-fold frame.
