Burned Alive/Slide-in Version

This is the traditional version of the Burned Alive or Cremation illusion. After your assistant is introduced, she is "hypnotized" and laid to rest on a thin tray that is connected to a casket. She is slid into the coffin and through the slats in the sides of the casket, she can be seen as she is pushed in. The lid is removed, a torch is lit and applied to the interior. Flames and smoke rise out of the cabinet. When the sides are dropped, all that remains is a smoldering skeleton. This is not a difficult illusion to build, yet it has maximum impact on the audience.
