Chair Suspensions

A true classic of magic! We give you two versions of this popular effect. Both can be performed up close and surrounded. Both can be performed with an audience member and both are great one-man illusions!

One style features the spectator laying on a board supported by two chairs, then wrapped up in a cloth. One chair is removed and then the board is removed, leaving the spectator suspended on one chair positioned near their neck. The other style is straightforward with two chairs and a board, freely shown. The board is placed on the two chairs and the spectator is asked to lay on the board. Slowly and deliberately, one chair is removed, leaving the spectator resting on the suspended board.
