This plan is a concept plan that gives you the basic information needed to construct an effect using an age old concept. The proposed effect is as follows: A large cabinet is wheeled on stage. It rests on a thin aluminum tubular framework. It is rotated to show all sides and the front door is opened to show the interior to be empty. The production then made from this illusion can be staggering! Girl assistants, animals, things, whatever you can imagine, all being done with an apparent view behind the box with no visible access. The basic concept is that of English inventor and magician P.T. Selbit.
